Joining the Choir

Founded in 2006, Merchant Voices is Glasgow’s community choir based in the City Halls. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. There are no auditions and, although it is an advantage, the ability to read music is in no way a requirement.

Singing is one of the healthiest activities we can engage in. By joining us on Wednesday evenings, you will find yourself in great company, making wonderful music and you will reap the benefits both physically and mentally...it really is tremendous fun!

Everyone is welcome. We would encourage you to join a rehearsal or two before committing to a membership. Although we welcome all enquiries, we are particularly keen to hear from tenor and bass voices at the moment.
